Station 16 presents "The Fall", a new show by mixed media artist Alan Ganev

" When kids play with toy soldiers an innocent thrill for creativity and adventure occurs. For them these toys have nothing to do with real concepts of war, violence, religion, politics, or economics.
When I create art with toy soldiers I feel inventiveness and excitement, and their meaning to me becomes strictly poetic. They are a part of my life journeys and all the success and failure that comes along the way. They capture the fighting spirit of day to day personal battles."

- Alan Ganev

Station 16 is excited to present "Nothing Exists!" a solo show by the Los Angeles-based art collective, Cyrcle.

Exploring themes of religion, science, and duality, the exhibition marks Cyrcle’s return to Montreal after their participation in the 2014 MURAL Festival. The exhibition presents an original body of work that “explores the space between all that matters,” describes Cyrcle. “Nothing Exists is a philosophical quandary, a statement comprised of absolute polarities, in which its meaning is inherently dependent on one’s perception. Somewhere between something and nothing exists a space of uncertainty. This moment is immeasurable, yet more substantial than that which is tangible. The more we understand that nothing is something, we realize that nothing exists. We are part of an infinitely large and complex fabric of existence. Our energy moves as liquid from one form to the next, from here to the deepest pockets of the fathomable universe.”

VERNISSAGE LE 7 AOÛT À LA GALERIE STATION16 / OPENING NIGHT ON AUGUST 7TH AT STATION 16 GALLERY
"Le Diamantaire" is the alias of an artist of Normandy origin, but uses Paris as his canvas. Le Diamantaire seeks out his mirror pieces in the street and then cut's then into diamond shapes. His diamonds vary in sizes, and can be seen high on the age old architecture of the Paris streets.

12 JUIN - 3 JUILLET 2014 / JUNE 12TH -JULY 3RD 2014

KASHINK is one of the few very active female artists in the French graffiti/street art scene. She lives in Paris, France, and has travelled a lot throughout the world, getting inspiration from many different cultures. She paints huge four eyed characters, with thick lines, vivid colors, in a very distinctive style.
